Our Shark Carrier helps the National Marine Aquarium to move Lemon Sharks

We are delighted to see the team at the National Marine Aquarium successfully moving Lemon Sharks with the help of our Shark Carrier.

One of our quality products once again part of a successful project! More comfort and agility for the handlers, and a safer experience for the Sharks. A big thanks to James Wright and his team!

“We had to move the largest sharks ever to have lived at the NMA from our quarantine facility on the bottom floor to their intended exhibit. This was no mean feat to get them up three floors, especially as the larger female of the pair was 2.6 metres long and about 165 kgs.  The larger shark stretcher was perfect for this as once she was anesthetised we could securely hold her in, knowing that she would be safe, as well as the staff during the move.  The 3m poles supported her as we used these to suspend the sharks on a specially made trolley during the move”.

James Wright, Assistant Curator at the National Marine Aquarium
